do i continue to take my pill?

Hi so my period started in the middle of a pack that i am taking. I think due to me missing 1. The next day i took my regular pill and the one i missed but my period still started. Do I continue to take my pills normally or should i wait till my period has passed ? thank you

Keep taking them, but track the bleeding and how heavy, how long it continues etc. Then keep an eye if it happens again, or each cycle.
It's important to remember to take the pill, every day, obviously, so if you're finding that tough to do, consider a different type of BC. Also, don't worry too much about the same time every single day, don't just take it at noon one day and 10pm the next.
I was on it for over 20 years and never had so much as a pregnancy scare, and the key to never missing a pill was just taking it at bed time. Last thing before I climbed into bed, no matter what.
