No control over bank account or debit cards

I need to convince my husband that I can have control over our money again. The bank account is in his name, my pay check goes to his bank account and I'm not allowed to have a debit card that. I have struggled with a shopping and gambling addiction. We have 2 kids and I shopped and gambled us into debt for the past 5 years and my husband was gonna leave me and take the children unless I agreed to these terms. That was 4 months ago. He gives me kind of an allowance and I've been really trying to control my shopping and gambling addiction. Its also really hard not havig a card. I know I messed up but I need to prove to my husband I'm responsible enough to have money.
