What do you wear after c section?

So I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to end up getting a c section so I want to prepare. I have about 3-4 weeks left. I was wondering what type of underwear and pants to wear?

High waisted everything for me. I’m a plus size girl so I always wore high waist anyways. Hides my stomach better. I look terrible in not high waist stuff

I brought nursing gowns to the hospital. It was easier to deal with. I used the undies from the hospital. They are high waisted and I’m paying for them. I bought some high waisted Hanes panties for home. They’re UGLY but I just wanted to be comfortable. I wore mostly high waisted leggings at home was well.

Bring multiple different kind of undies and pants. I only brought 1 type of undies and had a surprise c-section, and the elastic was right on the incision. 
Next time I’ll bring “boy shorts” type of undies with belly button height elastic. I had an IV too, so I was more swollen than I expected. I’d get 1 size up from what I usually wear. 
As for pants, I wore my loose calvin klein pjs at the hospital and wore my high waisted maternity leggings home.

The hospital will supply mesh undies, but for at home either get some that come up higher and stay, or get some that go way lower. I like the lower ones. 
Heavy flow pads, you’ll still bleed quite a bit
High waisted sweats or pj bottoms
Loose, soft tops 
Bra of choice
Take slippers with grips because you’ll be more at risk to falling. 
The only advice I have for you is as SOON as they remove your catheter, get up and go to the bathroom or to get a cup of water or something. Get up and walk around. The more you walk, the easier recovery will be. With my daughter, I literally took her everywhere on the floor in her rolling bassinet. We would do snack runs, water runs, laps, go get our own supplies from the nurses station etc. And with my son, he was in nicu, so I literally would walk there a thousand times a day and since he was in nicu, my husband and I would walk the hospital everyday, especially if we went to see baby and he was asleep.
