Losing weight in pregnancy?

So I’m officially 9 weeks. For some reason I keep losing weight. Since being pregnant I’ve lost 7lbs already? I’ve gone to my doctor telling them I can’t really eat without feeling sick & I have 0 appetite. They prescribed zofran which isn’t really working. When should I start being concerned? With my first it was the complete opposite

I lost 11 lbs my first trimester and didnt start to gain weight until late into my second trimester. It was never a concern. If the doctor isnt concerned j wouldnt be concerned. Overall i only gained 17lbs my entire pregnancy

I don’t think it’s uncommon to lose weight in the first trimester because of morning sickness. With both my son and my current pregnancy I lost almost 20 pounds because I was SO sick and could eat much of anything. It becomes more important to gain wait in the second and third trimester

I have 0 appetite for some reason but not much nausea. 6 weeks and lost 5 pounds. Could be worry as I’ve had 2 losses.

I’ve lost 10 lbs so far and was normal weight to start, my midwife said she wasn’t concerned and that now that I’m 12 weeks the weight loss should slow. She said they like to see you gain 10 lbs by about 20 weeks but I probably won’t, but that as long as my labs are ok and there’s no ketones in my urine all is well and to call if I’m constantly throwing up, not able to keep fluid down. I’m able to eat at least 2 ish meals most days now, so things have definitely gotten better. Talk with your dr about it but most likely will just watch it and look for improvement in the 2nd trimester.

I’m still losing weight at 12 weeks. I’ve lost close to 9 lbs now.
I just try to eat whatever I can. Sometimes it’s only French fries or just a small serving of fruit.  It’s happened with all of my pregnancies and my doctor hasn’t expressed concern as long as I keep down water and my prenatals.
You can always call and ask too if you are concerned. It is common but it may make you feel better to check in with your doctor and make sure.

i think it's relatively common to lose some weight in the first trimester as so many people experience nausea. try to get down anything you can. my mom survived on McDonald's chocolate milkshakes with me 😂
