Spd or kidney infection?

So I had spd at 28 weeks with my last pregnancy and it was the worst pain I have ever experienced. I am currently only 8 weeks and 4 days along and today I started experiencing lower back pain that is just increasingly getting worse, like above where your butt starts. I thought it was a kidney infection but remembered kidneys hurt in the upper/middle back. I have no bad pubic area pain, a little crampy/sore in the hip bones but omg my back.

It could be sciatica and neither of those? I have SPD and severe sciatica but I had no idea what it actually was until I saw the hospital physiotherapist a chiropractor and an osteopath!

Just with my experience I’ve had several kidney infections in the past and although the pain can be anywhere on your back it will mainly be where your ribs are behind your back and your flank area (basically your sides that are upper near your ribs). It will also feel like you have an extremely bad UTI when you go to the bathroom and your urine can get darker. Although it doesn’t quite sound like one everyone is different and I would definitely get it checked out because if you can get it taken care of early it’s better than later.

Go get tested for a kidney infection. If it is that and its left untreated it can cause problems with your pregnancy
