Newborn sleep routine ??

What’s your newborn night time routine ? We have a 9 day old and we are holding on by a thread !!😩 it’s almost impossible because 1 she hates her bassinet and prefers to sleep on me. She hates being swaddled but when she’s not swaddled she spends the majority of the time flailing her hands and legs. 2 she’s congested and being on her back makes it worse for her. 3 factor in the feedings, changes and pumping ….🥴🥴🥴

At that stage, just do whatever it takes to get through! Don’t worry too much yet about routines. 
Maybe try different types of swaddles? Our baby didn’t like being swaddles with his arms down, but the love to dream arms up swaddle worked great for us. 
Maybe alternate with your partner where after one feed you take care of baby, then after the next he does, etc. That way you can get a short little bit of rest on and off. 
We struggled a lot with naps in the first months. We basically started with small goals, like just one nap in the bassinet a day. 
It takes time! Hang in there!

At 9 days old there is no routine. Baby guides the schedule. Have you tried the miracle blanket swaddle? It’s the only thing that worked for my girls, I swear by it. Also mine sounded just like yours and hated the bassinet and being on their backs, turned out they had a dairy intolerance! I was breastfeeding so when I cut dairy from my diet, it got better within 2-3 days! You could try it (or switch to a dairy free formula if you’re formula feeding). They both outgrew it by 6 months but from when they were born and then once I cut dairy was night and day.

Every 2hrs non stop interruption.
Honestly sleep how baby prefers to sleep if that’s on you then do what works I promise it’s less of a fight at that point. You have to ease into a sleep arrangement that works for you all.

Not sure what your financial situation is, but we had a Snoo and it was a lifesaver. At 9 days old both my girls were still waking 2-4 times at night but the snoo made it easy for me to feed and then go right back to sleep.
If you don’t have a snoo I would swaddle well even if your kid doesn’t love it- at that age they’re gonna startle awake so much if they’re not swaddled.
The routine in mom’s on call helped me and my family. Hang in there mama, it can be really tough!

Have you tried a bath, bottle/boob, bed routine? My son sleeps so much better on bath nights!

My routine is bathe him around 8:30 pm feed him and lay him down in the bassinet and he will fall sleep on his own but he’s 7 weeks now and My baby also hated to be swaddle at the beginning and I gave up but then I started swaddle him with one arm out and he loves it Bc he has the freedom to move one arm at least, it will get better 😊
