IUD placed during C-Section???

Hi ladies,

My Dr gave me the option to have an iud placed during my c-section this coming Friday. I had an IUD placed previously when my son was a few months old and I did like the way my body responded to it. I’m wondering, though, if anyone has had it placed during a c-section and did it in any way effect breastfeeding/your milk coming in? She assures me it won’t cause any issues with nursing, but I’d feel more comfortable hearing from women who’ve gone through the experience of having it placed immediately after birth and didn’t experience any breastfeeding issues.
