My baby was born at 37 weeks and went home with me. We stayed in the hospital for 2 days.

I had both my babies at 35 weeks and I stayed 3 days for both. My daughter had a nicu stay for jaundice(1 day), with my son he failed the car seat test and couldn’t test again for 24 hours so we had to wait another day.
I believe babies born before 37 weeks have to pass the car seat test to go home!

My daughter was born @ 36 weeks and stayed in for a week because our hospital won’t let you leave with a baby under 5 pounds. 
My son came at 38 weeks and we were in the hospital for 2 weeks because his sugars were low
