Advice

Hello everyone!

Just need some advice…

I am assigned to 0000-0800 & were all being mandated to stay another 8 hours because staff don’t show up to work & abuse their time on the books. So my work schedule literally runs from 0000 - 1600 5 days a week & im literally so exhausted, this situation has me depressed. I wouldn’t mind if this mandation was once or twice a week but it’s literally happening all 5 days every week. I have a 5 year old & 9 month old at home & I hate how i feel like I’m never there even when I’m off because I’m so tired. I feel so bad for my husband because at this point it’s like I’m never here. I work for the government… the pay & benefits are great can’t complain, for the past couple of days I been reflecting a lot on how I wish I could have a normal life.. work an 8-4 job & be with my family 😣 I really don’t know what to do at this point…
