Progesterone for ptl

Has anyone been on progesterone suppositories to prevent preterm labor? How long before you went into labor when you stopped them? I’m on 200 mg vaginal suppositories twice a day. Currently only 1cm dilated and 50%, which is totally normal for a 4th time mom at 35w.

I stop my suppositories on Saturday and just curious if people have had the show go on right away or if they’ve been able to keep baby in for a bit after that. I would love for baby to stay in until 39w (my OB and mfm both approved !) but definitely at least until 37.

I’ve been contracting pretty nonstop already though 😑 I had procardia on Monday afternoon/night and steroids Monday and Tuesday but didn’t dilate at all thankfully
