Covid vaccine early in pregnancy?

I’m 5 weeks 1 day today and keep going back-and-forth on if I want to get the Covid vaccine. I want me and my baby to stay safe and healthy but I’m nervous about a miscarriage and the unknowns about the long term side effects of the vaccine… has anyone got the vaccine very early in pregnancy and regretted it? Or been completely fine? I’m so torn on what to do 😩

I got the first vaccine a day before I found out I was pregnant. 
I am now 7 weeks and 3 days. Tomorrow I will be getting my second vaccine. 
I am also a nicu nurse and the amount of young moms we have that are so so sick from covid is frightening. I wish I didn’t wait so long. 
But you do whatever you feel is right, there’s no wrong answer 😘 best wishes

I got pregnant one week after taking the first dose.  Then I put on the second one when I was 5 weeks and so far everything is  fine.  no side effects.  I put on the Moderna .  I also have Graves / hyperthyroidism.. now a have 7 weeks

I’m getting the vaccine today my first shit and I am 5 weeks 5 days. My doctor really recommended it because of how bad covid here is in Australia at the moment. So I’m definitely getting it especially if I have to keep going in and out of the hospital often. 🌤

I had my first vaccine the week I found out I was pregnant. 2 days before actually. 
I have my third next Wednesday. I will be 6.5 weeks by then. 
I spoke heavily with my private doctor about this and he explained what was safe for myself even before I was pregnant. I also had the conversation about it “effecting pregnancy”. He was super supportive about my thoughts and reassured me accordingly. I recommend doing the same. 
I will post on Wednesday how I am feeling post 2nd vax.

I just got the second and felt fine after. My husband also just got the second shot and is being a big baby. He told me he didn’t know how I wasn’t feeling worse than I was. I told him it was because I’m pregnant and have gotten used to feeling like crap. But honestly the only side effect I had was a sore arm. 
My doctor had said he was seeing the delta variant cause patients to be sicker than he was seeing before. He said he was recommending it for all his pregnant patients.

They have been studying this and so far there ate no confirmed adverse fetal outcomes for those who were vaccinated while pregnant. That said, often doctors will recommend waiting until the second trimester for vaccines and other medical interventions. It’s not super common to get a fever with the vaccine but some will get it for a day or two. For those reasons I would carefully weigh the pros and cons of vaccinating now versus second trimester. For me, if I was super fit, relatively low exposure rate, I would wait. If I was unhealthy, had other risk factors like lung diseases or obesity, and/or had a high chance of being infected I would vaccinate immediately.

I would recommend getting it.  I take care of covid patients and have recently seen too many pregnant women with covid intubated and having emergency c-sections.

My doctor recommended waiting until I am at least 10 weeks, when the embryonic stage is completed. 
I am getting it then.

I just wanted to say that I’m in the same boat. It’s required for my job, but I wanna wait until the end of my first trimester because of the small amount of study contribution right now. With the first trimester being the riskiest in general, I wanna give my baby every fighting chance if it should need it…full approval usually doesn’t happen for 5-10 years after development, so that really doesn’t make me feel better about getting it now after barely a year 🤷🏼‍♀️ 
Please don’t comment any debates. This is just how I feel. Everyone should be able to make their own decision on what they feel is right

I feel ya, I'm in the same boat, gonna ask my ob her advice on the 7th when I see her. If she gives me reassurance on its safety I will most likely go get it since our cases are rising yet again and I don't want to risk getting covid while I'm preg and going in and out of a hospital for app. We do know the risk of preg and getting covid which is higher risk factor.
