PRESCHOOL?

So my little man start preschool next week and I am super nervous. I don't know what to expect and I have a lot of questions, like is he gonna be okay, is he gonna play with the other kids, is he gonna listen?Any mama's got any helpful tips, please share with me.

We aren’t doing preschool until next year since most preschools in our area require them to be 3 year old and potty trained by sept 1. Hope your little one does well!

Once kids get into a group with other kids, it’s a lot easier for them to listen and follow directions. They see their peers doing something and they do it too. That has been our experience at daycare. Our son uses the potty at daycare and follows directions and his teachers say he does very well in class and then he comes home and all bets are off and he refuses to use the potty. I can’t imagine anyone would be a teacher if all the kids acted like they do at home. It’ll probably take a few days to adjust, but I’m sure he will fit right in. Kids are pretty resilient. I’m sure the school will let you ask as many questions as you need to.
