6w1d spotting

This morning I showered and when I got out noticed I was spotting dark brown blood, but it was light spotting. It’s been on and off all day so I went to get another test just to make sure it was still positive. It was a dye stealer instantly, but has anyone else had spotting? I obviously called my midwife and she said to call back if it gets heavier or bright red and it hasn’t. This is my fourth pregnancy and I’ve never had bleeding.
