Question

Alright so I’ve been together with my boyfriend for about two months and a half now. Everything going right I have never felt happier never had a bigger connection with anyone… however there are a few things. He’s from a different culture and when he told his parents he was dating someone…. Yeah they didn’t react well at all. To put it simple they don’t want a Caucasian atheist girl for their son and they didn’t even give me a chance nor did they want to meet him. Instead they tried to force a arranged marriage on him. ( with someone from their religion and their choice of course) Which he refused and now.. well he has no choice but leave. ( We’re both 20 btw) so he’s moving in with me. On top of that I am around 6 or 7 weeks pregnant (unplanned pregnancy pls don’t judge it happens) and we’re very happy like very excited! 
However when people hear that he’s like moving in with me and we expect a baby only after like almost 3 months of dating they kinda freak out say it’s too early it’s all going too fast etc. 
I really don’t care to be honest, like I’m happy my partner is happy we did know each other prior to dating. Yes it’s early for a baby but accidents happen.. and I don’t really care what the people say however I would still like an opinion. Do you think we’re doing the right thing? Would you say this is all going too fast or do you think in this kind of situation it’s normal..?

So my husband and I moved in together after less than a month of dating, got pregnant within 3 months of first starting to date.  we have been together for 16 years, married for 12 of those years and have 3 handsome sons and 1 beautiful daughter.  No one can tell you what's right for you only you two can decide what's right for you guys.

I’m basically in the same boat as you. My boyfriend and I have only been dating since October; and we’ve only been exclusive since December. I found out in February that I was pregnant and my aunt kicked me out of the house because of it. He had me move in with him after only being together for a few months. I’m due in October and we’re doing great. Slightly different as it’s my family that doesn’t really want anything to do with us, but his family has been amazing and supportive. Everyone told us it was to soon, but honestly with a baby on the way we could just give up. Now everyone can’t believe we’ve only been together for less than a year because we click so well. Don’t worry about what everyone else says and follow your heart and mind and do what’s best for you and the baby. Time doesn’t determine how well a relationship will work, the people do.

I think that if he didn’t care what his family thinks (not necessarily a bad thing), then you shouldn’t care what people think either. Y’all aren’t the first people to get pregnant and move in together early on in the relationship and y’all won’t be the last so, I wouldn’t sweat it. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Life happens, it doesn’t matter what other people think. you just have to make the best out of every situation you are put into. If you are happy & he is happy & you want things to work, they will. I’ve known people who’ve gotten pregnant from a one night hook up & things have turned out OK for them.. and I know people who have been together for years & have a kid & it was too much for them & they ended up separating. It does seem fast, but the timing doesn’t really dictate the outcome. It is unfortunate his family is not accepting of you, but that could always change. Don’t let it ruin your happiness now. Babies are a blessing💗 id stay enjoy this journey & anyone who is negative about it, just remember it isn’t their life or situation.
