Hiding behind “I don’t know” after being educated on a subject is ridiculous at this point. A quick google search of “what is a pickaninny” “mammy dolls” “offensive black caricatures” can quickly clear up any misunderstanding. These things are extremely RACIST. They are caricatures of how black people were represented & seen as nappy headed, scheming, watermelon eating, buffoons & alligator bait.
