How long do you keep your baby in the exersaucer and jumperoo?

Do you keep them in it pass the the 20 minute for the day recommendation? My baby loves his jumperoo. I just got it, thanks for the great recommendations from you mamas. I also got an exersaucer so I can rotate. Then I did the thing every first time moms do, go to google

That’s when I freak myself out. I need parents who went through it already to help me out.

Yeah my kids could be in there all day if I let them😂 I did however long they were happy for. Sometimes they were done/not in the mood for it at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ other days they would wanna cry if I took them out (to change diaper usually) They’re 4 and 1 now lol but I was like whatever about it. Same with walkers and stuff. I wasn’t worried about it

I let my daughter jam tf out in hers, for as long as she was happy and content. She loved it is an understatement. I also loved it because it allowed me to get things done (fold laundry, cook dinner, clean up). Keep in mind she was always in my line of sight. She walks completely fine, has no hip issues.

Ok so this is just me so take it with a grain of salt. I was really paranoid about overuse and kept usage to less than 15 min a day, usually even less. Then when she started walking, I noticed on days she used the jumparoo she would walk a little funny, like more on her toes, so I stopped use altogether. 
However, as a tool for you being able to use the bathroom or get something quickly while she's contained, please don't stress it.

I used a jumperoo for my son and now using it for my daughter. My son would be happy in the jumperoo all day if I let him, but I did try to restrict it to no longer than 20 minutes at a time. With my daughter we use it maybe 10 minutes per day at the most because she definitely prefers her freedom on the floor.

Boy am I glad I didn’t know about the 20 minute thing with my first because that kid was in this thing all freaking day. Maybe not literally all day, but a LOT. He is unscathed, age 2.5 now. Did take him til 15 months old to finally walk though 🤔

My daughter hated her walker, jumparoo, and her exersaucer so I only ever used them when I needed to do something and wanted my daughter to stay in one place lol. But as long as you aren’t leaving your baby in it for hours and hours, I wouldn’t worry. Most of your child’s play time should be on the floor or in an open space, but if they like the jumparoo, there’s no problem with letting them play in it too.
