My boyfriend gets mad if I wear shorts

My boyfriend calls me disrespectful if he doesn’t like what I’m wearing. I rarely wear shorts because I know he’ll say something. Yesterday I had a fever and it was hot so I wore biker shorts which were two inches below my fingertips literally. He kept going off when my sister would get out of the car. He told me to go be with someone else if I want to dress like that. Since this was the first time I didn’t change when he got mad. I told him how he thinks is toxic and that I’ve changed how I dressed for three years and these shorts arent even short. He kept saying I don’t give a fuck anymore do what you want and if I’m toxic why am I with him. He got out of the car and walked home and smashed his phone really bad.

I’m tired. It’s been three years and when it’s good it’s really good but things like this happen and it makes me feel crazy.
