I don’t know why. But, The Woman In Me by Shania Twain reminds me of not only him, but when we first met after I left my horrible marriage. He held me through many freak outs from flashbacks and was that support that I needed at that time. He helped me become that strong woman that I once was again. 💕

Right before we talked about getting back together (years co-parenting and doing therapy) he sent me a link to the song Here to Mars from Coheed and Cambria. The lyrics fit our situation like a glove.
One of the songs from our wedding that brings a smile to our faces is Lucky by Jason Mraz. They both bring warm fuzzy feelings up every time we hear them much to the embarrassment of our teenage children 😂
