Name you keep coming back to?

Anyone have a name they just keep coming back to no matter what? I’ve been in love with the name Smith for a boy for years now. However, I’ve ended up having 2 girls. We told family about our boy name and everyone still makes fun of us to this day. I’m pregnant with #3 now, don’t know gender. But I’m just still coming back to Smith. Idk if I could use a name that our families hate so much and yet I can’t get it out of my head. Thoughts?

We’re having a girl but the boy name my husband really fell I love with was Lucifer. I think it’s actually really cool and agreed. Our religious family is not happy to say the least but it’s not their baby so 🤷‍♀️

If you love it use it! You'll only regret caring what other people think so much and not going for it! A name we keep coming back to is Harrison. We threw it off the list because our last name also ends in SON but we just keep coming back to it and we love it so much! So I think we are gonna just go for it and use it (if we have a boy)

If you love it, use it. Your family will come around. We used to make fun of the name Ty when my sister told us she was naming her baby that. It’s not a bad name, but we made jokes like, “Ty, tie your shoes.” Well, 14 years later, I can’t imagine him with a different name.

For my first I loved the name Artic. My husband looked at me like I was on drugs with two heads when I suggested it. I still love the name. I think it would be so cute for our son but I truly love the name we went with. He’s two and a half now and his name is just perfect and we came up with it together. 
I also liked the name Zader but that was vetoed. 
People hate my sons name, my mom refuses to say it. My dad has told me “don’t be hurt when he gets older and says I wish you’d name me something more common like bill or John” people also hate that he has both our last names as ONE last name. He is the first of his name and I absolutely love it. My friends mom asked me what his full name was and then replied woah that’ll take 10 mins for him to write and god forbit when he has to do his signature he’s gonna hate y’all. 😒😒😒
His first name has Six letters 
Middle name has Seven letters 
Last name has twelve letters and a hyphen

I’m debating not telling anyone our name when we do finally pick one, I just feel like I’ll already consider the bad nicknames, the initials, how it sounds for an adult, etc. family can have their opinions, but if they want to name something they can adopt a pet.

There was a littler girl in my daughters gymnastics class named Smith. Took me by surprise honestly….but not completely unheard of.
