Backstory. We had our baby 3 months ago and after he was born my husbands mother wanted to stop by. I told her when she could stop by but there were rules. We have told her since the beginning of my pregnancy that smoking wouldn’t be allowed around him. She thought the rules didn’t apply to her. She sent very ugly messages when I told her and was even making Facebook posts about me saying I was damaging my child by doing this. I posted about that before and ended up blocking her like y’all suggested. My husband said it was childish of me to block her but yet he never said anything to her when she was making those posts. I wasn’t gonna keep letting her disrespect me. Well I decided to reach out because it’s starting to cause issues in my relationship. She never responded back. I told my husband I reached out and she never responded. I told him I wasn’t making anymore attempts and don’t feel like I should beg her to come see her grandchild. He just shook his head. Am I wrong?
