As a naïve 19yo girl (that I once was) you will not see anything wrong…
And legally their isn’t. 
BUT when you become 25 and than 30 years old.. 
you will realize how weird it is 
I have a 19 year old sister and I look at her like wow ur such a immature naive kid who knows nothing.. of course I tell her live her life and enjoy every bit and get all the experiences… 
but my point is now that I’m older I see her age and realize how young I was and young minded most of all… 
And I know at 19 … u feel grown asf… well girl it gets even more grown… u ain’t there yet.
A 29 year old man who can have conversation with a 19 year old girl… it’s weird 
But legally your okay. 
So live ur life girl. YOLO.

Here’s the thing.
A 19 year old who thinks this relationship is okay probably sees themselves as very mature and ready and responsible and all that. And sure yeah, probably they really are those things! 
But the 28 year old who’s attracted to a teenager is… not. And it’s hard for the 19 year old to see this, because they haven’t viewed adults as peers for very long, and maybe because attraction or love obscures everyone’s perceptions. But for real. A 28 year old who wants to be in a relationship with a 19 year old isn’t a normal healthy mature 28 year old. Maybe he’s a predator looking for someone naive because he’ll have more control, or maybe not. Maybe he’s a perv only attracted to the very young, or maybe not. Maybe he’s just a giant boy who is going to expect you to clean up after him while he goofs off, and as you grow and mature he just never will.
Has this age gap ever worked out? Sure. Every improbable thing happens once in a blue moon. Is it a good idea for you now to put yourself into this situation when the odds are SO bad? Nope!!!

Consenting adults but I don’t like the age gap. Because why? Two different life milestones, mental processes etc.

I've had two experiences with age gap relationships. 
1. I was 18 and he was 35. And again with this person a few years later. We were long distance and while he seemed perfect at first he slowly got possessive and really irrational. 
2. More recently (he ended things this week) I'm 26 and he was 45. He was my best friend first and things naturally evolved into what I thought was love. He told me he loved me and missed me on several occasions, seemed to have his shit together, etc. Then he decided the other day he just didn't want me anymore and blocked me out of his life without any reason or discussion. 
I like to think of myself as a mature individual. I've always been attracted to the stability and confidence of older men, but, in my cases it hasn't worked out. With both of these men we were at different stages in our lives. Although we found common ground on many things, there were also a lot of things we didn't agree on. 
Personally, I'm done with age gaps. I'm old enough now that men around my age are also mature and want the same things I do. 
I'm not saying that my experience will be yours, but take it into consideration. You don't want to give someone your young years when you should be figuring out what you want to do and who you are and regret that later.

Legally it’s not wrong I guess…but morally IN MY OPINION I think it is. Like if you think about it you have someone fresh out of high school in a way then you have someone who would’ve already had or is about to have their 10 year high school reunion…to me that’s weird. Like 19 is still a teenager so, I guess the question I always think about is what does a grown man want with a teenager? It’s just something I wouldn’t be able to do whether I was 19 messing with a 28 year old or whether I was 28 messing with a 19 year old. I’m 22 and I wouldn’t even mess with a 19 year old. I just struggle to see what you’d have in common with someone that much younger. Like 28 is still fairly young but 19? Idk. This is just my opinion and I’ve already seen a comment where someone thinks it’s okay and that’s fine but for me I could never. To each their own I guess.

When I was 18 & 19 I dated two men in their late 20s. Looking back on it, I’m like.. What was I thinking??? But men like that give you ALL the attention and that’s what gets young girls. I was naive but it’s not like they manipulated me into being with them, I was pretty mature for my age (everyone thought I was in my mid-20s) and my parents had a 20 year age difference so it wasn’t super weird for me. I would definitely question the man’s motives if my daughter were in the same position though.
