Crying during sex

I lost my virginity over a year ago and it was great, not painful at all. Up until about a month or two ago it has gotten extremely painful. It feels like something incredibly sharp is going in and out of my vagina but only on the right side? It’s has gotten so bad to where I pushed him off and started crying. It all happened so fast but it was SO painful. I’m now hesitant to have sex with my boyfriend because I’m afraid that it’s going to hurt again. I have no idea what to do. We’ve tried different positions, foreplay, trying to relax, everything. I’m wet so there’s not a lot of friction so it’s not that. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I’m thinking I may have endometriosis but haven’t been checked for it yet but I’m almost certain but I’m not sure if that could be the cause of it.
