Depends on the person and your connection. I knew my boyfriend was my person after our 4th date. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Love came three-four months in. Been obsessed with him since.

Varies by person obviously, do I believe in Lovette first sight, absolutely not, do I believe in emotional connection, yes, do I believe in physical attraction, I guess, do I believe in emotional attachment or the inability to wanting to be alone, or emotional codependency, yes to that as well. For me personally, you can feel the emotions in the rush and excitement that happens in the beginning of most relationships. But you also have to remember that everyone puts on their best face in the beginning nobody says hi I am an asshole who’s going to treat you like shit and abuse it was that OK with you. Hopefully a woman would stay away from that, but there are some who want to be the ones who try and change them, that usually doesn’t work out. It takes me a long time to develop feelings for someone because I am aware of situations, I am aware of people having a past, for instance a history of cheating, obviously if somebody has a history of cheating, you’re just kind of asking for being with them, but nobody tells you these things on the first date, nobody says they’re negative traits, they usually don’t come out until later on When a situation arises, that causes jealousy or possessiveness or insecurity or anything else to come out. I take a good while to get to know someone, my current partner I’ve known him 20 years, I didn’t catch feelings until about 11 months in. And sometimes those feelings come and go depending on life and situations that arise, sometimes you noticed a little things about them that bother you, sometimes you notice how they react to situations, how they react to anger, stressful situation, etc. and I want to see what I’m dealing with before I catch feelings. Sometime she gets swept up in situations, I did get catfish in the past, and I learn my lesson not to catch feelings quick, I have some thing seems too good to be true, usually is, and sometimes people talk to multiple people at the same time, and what one won’t do another will. I’m in a place in my life where flying by the seat of my pants, doesn’t work anymore, that might’ve been fine when I was a teenager, the first guy that gave me butterflies, to be swooning over him, but in my 40s, absolutely not. My previous partner before the one I’m with now, it took me three months just to let him kiss me, another three months for sex at six months, I was still getting over my ex, I was with for five years, end it took me five months just to stop missing him after a year an a half of healing. But like I said everyone is different, I’m somebody who is more levelheaded who thinks with my head not with my emotions or my heart or the excitement and get swept up in things, I may have done that when I was younger, but not anymore. I mean I’ve caught feelings quickly for someone and it ended up backfiring, I’m more levelheaded as I’ve aged, when I was younger, I mean when you’re specially when you’re a teenager, the first guy that’s nice to you or treats you well or whatever it may be, it was Prince charming in my eyes you know but now that I’m older, no absolutely not. Do I have crushes on people I guess or am I attracted to someone, absolutely, but does that mean I’m in love with them, now, just because you catch feelings doesn’t mean you’re in love with them necessarily, but you have to discern that for yourself, if somebody is worth your time, if they are a decent person, if they treat you well, and remember like I said everyone puts on their best face in the beginning until you get emotionally attached and then they flip the script, and you end up doing the maximum to keep them happy and to keep the relationship going and etc. While they do the minimal. Until you get tired of it basically people don’t break up anymore, one person either becomes an asshole or does the minimal until the other person gets tired of it. Or they ghost you. My current partner that I’ve been with for over a year now, it’s still like day one for us, we are excited to see each other the minute they walk through the door, we are all over each other, we definitely have that sexual energy, but relationships are what you make them, and that’s the bottom line. If relationships and feelings can come and go, obviously everyone’s emotions ebon flow, we have times when we have sexual energy and are horny, we have times when we are sad and depressed, We have times when we are stressed and annoyed, but life is what it is. You make the best of things and you figure it out.￼￼￼￼￼￼
