When people tell you WHO your baby looks like 🙄

With my first born it was always that he looks just like daddy! Okay I get that. As he’s gotten older it’s more like he looks like your dad, your brother, your husbands brother, grandpa even. WHY DOES EVERYONE always say our babies look like someone other than my husband and I? Does this drive anyone else CRAZY!?

My daughter is 3 and we've always heard she looks like her dad. Which she does. But she also looks like her grandpa (his dad) because apparently those genes are stronger than ours lol. Like my dads kids, you can 100% tell we're his. His genes were the strongest out of the bunch. But my husband's beat mine and here we are.

My MIL does this, but I think it’s just because she spent so much time with her kids growing up that she only sees the similarities to her kids- I think my nieces/nephew are a pretty good mix of their parents 🤷🏻‍♀️ also, no matter how many times people say my brother looks like my dads family, it doesn’t change that he looks identical to my moms dad at the same age 😂

But I think I look like my dad, so it makes sense that my son may resemble my father. If that makes sense?

Maybe they genuinely think he does? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t see the big deal. My cousin looks like my dad (mon’s brother) and people have been saying it since he was like 4 lol but he really does!

Lol it doesn’t bother me it can get annoying though . Since the day my son was born everyone said omg he looks like your father . I said well we share the same blood and that is my father I wouldn’t be surprised if he looked like either side of the family tbh 🤷🏾‍♀️. My husband mom gets angry when they say it but it’s 100% true
