Late ovulation

I was just curious on how late you can ovulate.

So my last period ended on the 9th of September. I was supposed to start ovulating on the 17th.

My husband was at a training from the 8th until the 31st.

I am currently 4 days late. I'm not usually late. I'm usually a couple days early.

So since he was gone during the time I was supposed to ovulate, and since I'm late...it's obvious that I ovulated late. But my question is...is it possible I could of ovulated around the time he came home on the 31st and there could be a chance of pregnancy?
