White precum?

Does your mans precum ever look white in the condom? Started using new non latex condoms (skyn brand to be specific) and we noticed that his precum looked white in the condom. He was sure he hadn’t orgasmed yet but we stopped anyways because we didn’t want to take any chances. Normally doing other things his precum is clear. Do you think it could be the from the lube or plastic on the condom or something else? Can guys leak cum before orgasm or something?
