Invites sent on time or too late?

I allowed my mom to prepare and host my baby shower. I had asked her to send my invites for me as well. She just sent them this weekend and my shower is on Saturday September 25th, which gives people a week and a few days notice. When I asked her if they were sent out yet, her response was "not too early and not too late but they send out this weekend".

I'm a bit worried that it's not enough time for people to actually prepare themselves and their schedule for the shower, I'm also a little worried about not giving them enough time to view our registry that's on Amazon. My experience, it may take a few weeks for some packages to come in. I havent bought many things for our baby because I wanted to see what would be given at the shower, now I'm kinda regretting waiting on buying anything because I feel like there won't be enough time for people to get things that we would like them to get us 😕

No, it's not about the gifts. We just want to make sure everyone has enough time to get what they are wanting and we want to make sure we have plenty of time and funds to buy things rather than buying a bunch of things at once. I just kinda feel like my mom dropped the ball on this... I would have preferred to have had them sent out at least 4 weeks in advance.
