Contractions at 38 weeks

(I’m a first time mom)

I just officially hit 38 weeks . I’ve been having these painful cramps that feel like I’m about to start a period. .like the type of cramps that make you check to see if you’re bleeding or not lol . I feel it in my stomach and In my back. It’s more so of a very strong ache. I also been having some sharp pains on the side of my stomach that goes into my back at random times throughout the day . Sometimes with the pain I feel it goes down into my legs as well. The cramps I just had lasted about 3 minutes. I had one earlier when I woke up from a nap as well. It just felt like an intense stomach ache . I did end up having to go to the bathroom.

So far today I had one at 4:40 pm , 9 pm and 12:30 am . There are very random and spaced out.

They are obviously not consistent enough for me to call anyone yet.

Are these actual contractions?? 🤔🤔 they definitely don’t feel like Braxton Hicks

Is this the beginning of labor ??
