Cerclage & rest

Hi,

I had my ultrasound indicated cerclage on Friday 9/10, my cervix was measuring 2.5 cm with an internal beaking. I’m currently 19w. Doctor thought it is better to do it now than wait and watch as I have a history of preterm loss at 20 weeks. Any advice for me at this point? I’m still recovering from the surgery, I have a dull backache and lower abdomen discomfort. I’m currently taking bathroom breaks and stand every 2-3 hrs. I know bed rest is not recommended and I’m aware of pelvic rest. There’s still a long way to go and I want to do everything possible to save my little bean. If you are reading please keep my rainbow 🌈 in your prayers. I just wish no mom should go through this.
