Waiting on HSV Results

So last week I discovered a bump on my Pubic region, I shrugged it off thinking it may have been a ingrown hair. More bumps then symptoms came and I went to the OB-Gyn yesterday, and they believe it’s HSV2. I’m scared. I told my boyfriend, he’s confused. I’m confused. Idk rather it came from him (he’s going to get tested) or if it came from my cheating ex husband who I haven’t been with in over a year. And if it is from my ex, what if I gave it to my boyfriend unknowingly. How do I deal with that guilt. I doubt it’s from my ex. I would think they would’ve detected it in my blood work when I was pregnant last year 🥺 but idk.

Hopefully my results come in soon, I’m just in pain. Uncomfortable. And don’t know what to do.
