Hell ya, that's positive

I'm posting this to remind other wives and girlfriends that it is important to communicate what matters to you. That a loving partner can make positive changes.

The last few years have been difficult with my husband with any holiday and me. I've been pretty vocal on his layed back approach to doing nothing for me on these days has made me feel unloved. That a decade ago he put in effort and love would give me a card or spend time with me.

Ladies he listened!

Today is my birthday, he and the kids picked me out two dozen roses. He then planned a babysitter and took me out to dinner as a surprise. I cried. Happy tears.

We had such a fun time. I'm so grateful in just the effort. Can't wait to celebrate his birthday in a month!
