Problems after throwing up?

Hey all, I'm 6w6d right now. I've had pretty bad morning sickness and nausea , but lately when I throw up I'm unable to breathe afterwards. Like for a solid 10-30seconds I'm gasping for air unable to breathe. It can get pretty scary. I called my Ob's office to ask about it and they basically just told me to manage my nausea and vomiting with vitamin b6 and unisom. 
Does anyone else have this problem? It's happened like 3 times now

I have had bad nausea and will say that Unisom and B6 worked amazing for me up u til about 12 weeks, when I upped to Zofran for the last couple of weeks. I don’t get an inability to breath, but to me after vomiting I feel like I do during a bad panic attack where I can’t control any of my breathing or talk or anything. I think a lot of it is just my body’s reaction to having lost control and trying to re-adjust  to not being in high alert mode. I would definitely bring it up to your dr again, ENT might be able to help but I’m not really sure if that’s the right specialist
