Toxic shock syndrome

So on Tuesday I happened to find a tampon inside myself and I have no idea how long it has been there. Due to my PCOS I rarely bleed which means it could have been there a long time. O don't know how I didn't realise it was in there as me and my fiance are extremely sexually active and are intimate multiple times a day.....I have became really I'll. I'm vomiting, extremely nauseous, bad abdominal Pain, dizziness and weakness. I contacted 111 and the doctors told me to go to the hospital which I didn't as I was at work and I couldn't leave my residents. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics and codeine which isn't helping. I have now started bleeding which is strange and vomiting to. Do you think this could be TSS???
