Speech therapy?

My son finally got approved and starts speech therapy in 2weeks. For mamas who have used this service. Did it help your little ones? Was is it or is it worth it? Any tips will be appreciated. It will be once a week for an hour.

My son did 23 weeks and let me tell you, night and day’ he even helps his sister who is a year younger, talk as well. It was a a big chunk of time this year but so worth it.

I seen a big difference in my son’s speech once he started the speech therapy sessions! He has therapy 2x a week for 30mins and the therapist goes to his daycare.

I did it for a couple of months with my girl and they taught her a bit of sign language since she's learning both Spanish and English it truly helps. She's also been more expressive on what she needs

We did speech therapy last year and it made a huge difference. When we started last September all he would say was ew, ow, and dada. Everything else was just screaming/grunting and reaching. We did 1 session a week for 6 months and by the end of it he was talking in sentences. Now, 6 months after getting out, he's still picking up language amazingly and actually used better vocabulary and sentence structure than some of his peers. It's like they unlocked something and now he WANTS to communicate.
