Heading in the right direction!!
We’re almost 22 months and we’re starting early intervention this coming week, we had our IFSP meeting this morning and we have so much on our agenda I feel like from here on out it’s going to be tough to do things. Starting Monday we’re going to be seen 4 times a month for parenting and getting help incorporating everything into daily lives, our main step is to see an ENT to check if there is fluid in bubbas ears as well as seeing if he has any oral ties that could be affecting the way he’s eating. So with that we will be getting speech and oral evaluations as well as physical therapy, and we’ll be filling out an application for early head start so he can learn to play with other kids during the day and figure out how to do things for himself without mommy and daddy or baby sis being there. Am I wrong for not wanting him to do early head start just because I want more time with him before he does go to school. I already feel like I robbed him of my time with having baby sis since he was only 6 months when we found out he would be a big brother. I know it’s not all day but I already feel like crap that he isn’t talking or anything from my husbands family.
