migraine causes during pregnancy ? any tips for relief

I have a horrible migraine im 9 weeks any tips for relieve, tylenol really sucks and doesnt do anything and unfortunately thats the only medication im allowed to take , please help, appreciate all the tips

I was getting weekly migraines (plus regular headaches most days in between) in the beginning of my second trimester.   My OB told me to try drinking a little bit of caffeine every day (like one soda) and it worked like a charm.  I haven't had a migraine in almost 10 weeks now.  I normally don't drink caffeine very often though, so it may have had a more significant effect for me than the typical person.  Good luck!  Migraines during pregnant suck so bad.

It just happens because your hormones are fluctuating constantly. It sucks, but there’s not much you can do besides Tylenol, sleep and stay hydrated.

I was also prescribed Fioricet, but before that- I took a combo of Tylenol and caffeine. It did help a little. So did a soft ice pack at the base of my skull.

But if you can't get that I recommend taking benadryl with your Tylenol & drinking pedialyte too

I was prescribed fioricet for migraines during both pregnancies.. safe during all trimesters and it helps tremendously
