any advice? im so conflicted, idk what to do? fraternal twins thru ivf but were not tested, a fresh transfer, embryos looked great but ofc that can mean anythin , idk?? plus how accurate is the nipt test with twins? anyone have experience with this pls help

Are you wanting it to test just for gender or for chromosomal abnormalities too? It will pick up the abnormalities. Gender it isn’t as easy to tell.

My friend is having fraternal twins and her nipt was accurate at 10 weeks. She’s having boy/girl twins and it was confirmed through ultrasound later on. I think there’s a special nipt you can get for twins, but I’m not an expert. Congrats on your babies!

So my friend just had the test done with twins and they said the only way it’s 100% effective in determine gender if both babies are girls, but that all other screenings wouldn’t be effected?
