I need help!

I am a freshman in highschool.

So, my parents are very protective of me, and they say I can't have snapchat until I am 17, but I really can't make new friends because that is the way people talk nowadays 🙄 and I wanna ask them (I have asked them before and they keep saying no) and idk what to do. If I can't have snapchat until I am a senior, I ain't gonna have many friends when I graduate. 😩😔😖

Please give me advice!!!! And no hate comments please 😬
