Cholestasis?

Question

Does anyone have this or have they had this? I didn't know that itching was a problem I have been like this my whole 3rd trimester and I just thought it was weather change or my body swelling or something I am getting blood work done tomorrow but I am so curious as to what will happen with me and baby if the tests come back that I do have it?
Update: thought I would update turns out I'm anemic so I will be taking iron for the rest of the pregnancy thank you for all your help I didn't know that itching could mean so many things.

I had it with my first at 37 weeks was induced at 38 managed to somehow skip it with my second but I got diagnosed with it yesterday being induced tomorrow my levels aren’t too high but I’m also carrying a big baby so they just think it’s best to get baby out! 
I can imagine early induction and more frequent checks from now until then I do feel for you though the itchy is horrible but it does go when baby arrives 🙌🏻 xx

I was diagnosed a couple weeks ago- currently 37+4. With medication, diet change and a bit of holistic approach, my numbers are technically undetectable.. Feel free to pm me🌻

I was diagnosed at 32 weeks. I was prescribed medication that I take twice a day for it, I’ve had extra ultrasounds, and blood tests done for monitoring. I also got an induction scheduled for 39 weeks. I still have to take more blood tests and based off of those results, the induction date may move up or stay the same. Good luck.

From what I understand, if your levels are elevated to a certain point they will go ahead and induce you. Birth is the only cure for cholestasis. If they aren’t dangerously high they may just keep a very close eye on it, but will still probably induce you by 38 weeks
