Waiting in the NICU with hopes of going home tomorrow, after giving birth to our River who has Adam’s-Oliver Syndrome. The 131 documented case since 1945. Having surgery the day after birth to close his scalp, a VSD, a bicuspid valve, and missing his toes our little Man came in the world as perfect as God made him. We may have been shocked but God was not. River continues to check off every box and we pray we go home soon! Weighing 4lb 8oz at birth and loosing down to around 3lb he is 9 days old and is back up to 4lb 11oz. To all my God fearing Moms please pray for our baby boy. God has blessed us with this assignment of the purest love. I’m not sure Why God chose me but my eyes and my heart are wide open seeing his Mercy and Grace guide the way! #RiverStrong
