Couldn’t afford to do anything on my son bday, i feel terrible !

So today is my sons 2nd birthday and i could afford to do was buy him a cake and candle, my mom bought him a bike and that’s it. I feel like a terrible mother. His dad walked out of our lives months ago and now i’m just sitting here crying because my baby deserves the world.
