Breast feeding
No one talks about how difficult breast feeding is. Just that you “HAVE to do it because it’s the best for your baby and the only way.” And no one talks about how difficult it is to continuously pump either when you have trouble breast feeding. I hate it. I hate it all. The breast feeding and the pumping. It’s exhausting and mentally and physically draining. I hate how my baby screams when he can’t latch on and I hate how I feel like my breast milk isn’t enough when I pump because I don’t have the want to eat anymore. And that I can even barely get any milk when I pump. And then I hate the guilt when I just give him formula because of all of it. Can we just stop the stigma on breast feeding/breast milk. Because as long as they’re getting fed that’s what matters. Can the hate stop so we can stop the mom guilt on at least one thing.
