My drunk husband pushed me out of the truck for trying to save two starving kittens on the side of the road… I had them in my hands and when I was trying to get in the truck he pushed me out and told me to leave them on the side of the road. I fell out of the truck but I grabbed the two babies and got back in the truck and told him to shut the fuck up… It’s for ONE night so they can get food and water and I’ll find them a place to go tomorrow. I’m absolutely shocked by his response and the way he treated me. It actually breaks my heart that he would be so heartless to me and two helpless animals. We got into a HUGE screaming fight over it because he “told me” to leave them but I didn’t listen to him. The kittens literally ran to me and were skin and bone and it broke my heart. I couldn’t just leave them.

I told him he shoved me and that he was wrong and he said “call the fucking law and have me arrested for abusing you them” 😒

I feel like he was gaslighting me so bad. I’m actually really sad…

Edited to add: I was driving that’s the only reason we stopped. He would have kept driving. This was the first time he has ever acted this way also so that’s why I was so shocked.
