Any csection mamas getting nervous??

Question

My first csection was an emergency after an induction, my second was after being in labor for over 36 hours. This 3rd baby will be the first time I just walk in already scheduled for a csection, coming in fresh and getting the spinal, etc. I am already starting to get so nervous! My first surgery was basically traumatizing and I’m still afraid from it, even after a much better experience with my second. I am already not coping well with this anxiety and how are you all handling it??! In some ways the emergency and/or electing the surgery after hours of exhaustion and excruciating pain was an easy choice, kind of out of my hands and just have to accept its happening. Now, I have something to fear and dread for sooo long in advance! I hate to admit I might be more scared than excited for my baby’s birthday atm!

I was the same , I had a really traumatizing experience my first emergency c section . I’m pregnant with my second now and have already decided to go with a c section again. I just keep trying to think “ okay , you’ve done this before , you can do it again”. It’s just such a different process this time .. you walk in , lay down , get the spinal. I totally know what you mean. Just remember you get a beautiful baby after it and you have done this before , maybe even this time you have more control. You won’t be exhausted from hours of labour before hand, you can get a good nights sleep and plan and just head in :)

I am sorry, I wish I could help. If you have the extra money, I would hire a doula. 
Otherwise, try to focus on how you’ve done this before and you’ll be able to do it again.
