PCOS ladies - how do you track ovulation??

I have tried OPKS but they never really worked for me. I've heard they aren't always accurate since the LH surges are more common and all over the place for someone with PCOS. I've been trying for over a year and my dr just says since my periods are relatively regular ish there isn't anything she can do. Is there a way to track ovulation?? I need some tips because I am burnt out 😔

I did a combination of ovulation strips and BBT. It was true (and cool to see) that I had LH peaks shown by ovulation strips but then no ovulation (BBT is the only real way to know confirmation of ovulation). But there were cycles where I had LH surge and then temps confirmed ovulation.
I think the combination is good because BBT will confirm ovulation but by the time temps confirm ovulation its too late to BD. So if I had an LH surge detected by a positive ovulation test, we’d try and hope that ovulation was confirmed by BBT in the next few days.
It’s complicated but not impossible! Good luck!

Regular periods does not ensure ovulation. I would push for testing from your doctor to make sure you are ovulating.

I track mine using a bbt chart alongside EWCM and it’s what I’ve found the most helpful. I don’t know if it’s worth challenging your GP though as just because your periods are regular doesn’t mean you are ovulating? Have they tested whether you’re definitely ovulating?
