Does your boyfriend or partner help

Do they help clean if you are a stay at home mom, not necessarily during their work week but on their time off, like if they are on vacation or the weekend off? Or do you do all the cleaning and cooking all of the time? Are stay at home mom's just obligated to do all of the house work all if the time, how do you think it should be?

We split it that we both “clock in” when the money earner leaves the house. The SAH parent is in charge of the child and the chores they are able to manage. We both “clock out” when the money earner gets home, and split the rest equally. Sometimes all the laundry got done, sometimes not. Sometimes the SAH parent wants to keep doing stuff with the kid, so the working parent starts dinner and does some cleaning. There is no reason the SAH parent should be responsible for full time child caring and all the house stuff. That’s insanity to me. PS- I’m the one making money and my husband stays home.

he makes messes, he cleans. he made these babies, he helps take care of them. he likes to eat food, girl he can make it sometimes.

My brother and his wife are the perfect couple, my brother can cook like a chef, the house is immaculate you can literally eat off the floors, they both do dishes, they both do laundry, they both work, and even when she stayed home with the kids, he still did stuff around the house, he is an amazing husband my brother, and she says all the time she’s lucky to have him, he does all the grocery shopping, he pays the bills, they go on several vacations multiple times a year, he’s excellent at saving money, her job is to dress the girls, running all over town getting homecoming dresses and whatever else for multiple times that she goes to different ones for her friends, that is her job is to dress the girls, do the shoes, all that crap. My brother takes care of everything else. That’s how a relationship supposed to be well-balanced. My brother change diapers my brother did bathtime my brother was the baby whisperer, he was the only one who could deal with the second one who was more than a handful, she still is to this day she’s 12 and 14 the two of them, even as a baby you didn’t know she was gonna kiss you were bite you she still feisty that way. We call them sugar and spice because they are polar opposites one is sweet and innocent and the other one you don’t know what you’re going to get if she’s going to get lol. But America supposed to be well-balanced, both partners contributing, both partners supporting each other, both partners needs being met, both partners still having that emotional connection, they’ve been married 16 years I think, they started long distance, they would meet 8 Hours Dr. each, they met on a work trip in New York, she moved to New York for him when his job was done after three years, they both moved to where she lived and I’ve been living there for the last 12 years I believe, that’s what relationships are compromising in the middle. Effort all the time, keeping the relationship going even after the kids go to bed. Relationships are what you make them. Communication big time. And you make it work. But at the same token, one person shouldn’t be carrying the relationship, otherwise they get tired of it. One shouldn’t be making all the effort while the other one does the minimum, if he sees that you’re tired, he can help you put the kids down to bed, you can give rub your feet, he can make the effort, that’s what a husband or a boyfriend especially when you have children is supposed to do you’re supposed to cater to each other, it’s not supposed to be a one-sided thing that you kiss his ass and he does nothing. Maybe some relationship counseling, I am picking up the slack. It’s not fair to you, when my mother was pregnant, my father would bring her breakfast in bed, when she was nursing, same thing my father brought her breakfast in bed every single day, and even after he passed 30 some years ago, she still serves her self breakfast in bed every day. And that’s what it has been supposed to do.￼￼￼

It would be nice. The only thing he 'helps' with is extra yelling and making a mess. 
I work. Take care of 2 kids + the one on the way. Deal with the bills. The groceries. The house hold chores. The Drs. Appointments for everyone. His personal/family drama and my personal problems. My childrens school . Me trying to attend school. And the animals that he brings home. 
No help just more problems then anything. He is an extra kid

No, not really. Like he will do occasional yard work but that's about it lol. Though on Sundays I like to sleep in so he will tend to my farm animals, dogs, and daughter.  So that's nice lol

My partner helps daily. Its his home too. He works fulltime. Last night i went to bed at 7:30 while he took care of our son. This morning i woke up to a clean house and a happy baby

Both my bf and I work however he still helps clean, take care of our pets and cook. 
I would never get into or think of continuing a relationship with a man who can’t or won’t do these things. As far as I’m concerned if your an able bodied adult you can help around the house.
