Birth Control concerns

I’ve been on BC since I was 16 and I am now 20. I’m thinking about stopping because I feel like it’s been long enough and hoping that my weight goes down too lol…. But I’m scared of the side effects. Has anyone stopped taking if so what are the side effects to it? Pros and cons?
