Tandem nursing (toddler and newborn)
I'm still nursing my 22-month-old and am due with our second in March. My midwife is supportive of me continuing and suggested tandem nursing until my toddler self-weans. I really didn't have a plan to breastfeed this long, but I enjoy it and my toddler is soothed by it, so I like the idea of her having comfort during a transitional time. But I also remember how much newborns nurse and feel a bit overwhelmed. Anyone have any experience with this?
