For us, we get some big gifts and little gifts. We get him things he will use and love. We don’t care about the price or the amount. We care about what he will enjoy and use. 
He isn’t into electronics because they haven’t been introduced to him. He loves hands on learning. He loves being outdoors. This year he will have his own kitchen aid mixer since he’s 5. He likes to bake with me. 
He loves books. He will have around 50 new books. He loves clothes and shoes. We found a really cute robotic dog on Amazon he will enjoy. Play dough kits and Lego sets are a hit with him. 
My Christmas for my child is for my child. His happiness is my Christmas.

It’s just personal preference, my son already has too much snd doesn’t need not one more toy. This year we are going to do a family trip and get him one thing donate some of his things.

I don't like how consumer driven everything is. So I want to be chill we buy our kids stuff on the random and spoil them when ever we want so Christmas is more about traditions and family.

Definitely neither, I would get them something little but we’re going to be steering away from giving huge amounts and of presents and toys and crap just for the sake of it

Neither. I don't have a quota or a budget for what I get the kids, we just get a few things that they need or I think they'll like.

My kids have to much already and we just moved to a smaller house so my kiddos are getting either cash to save or family is paying for music lessons

We take them on a mini Christmas trip. But they still get a new pair of pjs and a little special gift.
