Trying again after nine years

Briana

Hello ladies, so I am 34 and working on trying for baby number 2 with a new significant other. My daughter is almost 8. So it’s been a while for me. My person I am with now also has children from his previous marriage who are older. I have a few questions That I am hoping you ladies can help with. Before I was with my now person, I was on the Nexplanon (which I hated) for a few months. I had it put in June of 2020, and had it removed in November 2020. It just wasn’t for me. Well since then, my Mr. and I have been sexually active of course. We have never used condoms, and still do not. Even now not being on birth control. How long after does it usually take after that type of birth control is removed to truly conceive? Am I being hard on my self thinking I’m now just too old? I’ve gone to the Dr. and she said I was fine and capable of conceiving again. I guess I just keep thinking it’s taking forever and it’s just never going to happen. I’m definitely hard on myself. Help a mama out. Am I overthinking? All advice would be so appreciated.
